Independent Australian electric vehicle guides — built from real questions.
The short version
I bought a Geely EX5 (a mid-size family SUV) and learned how much electric vehicle advice is buried under jargon, specification tables and vague reassurance. ChooseEV turns those questions into clear, Australia-specific guides about range, charging and cost — including when an EV may not fit your situation.
All guides are written for Australian conditions: local charging networks, state and federal incentives, and real-world driving rather than overseas WLTP lab figures alone.
What do I drive?
A 2025 Geely EX5. That gives me hands-on ownership experience, not universal truth. Calculations use published WLTP figures alongside real-world caveats and visible assumptions; my own car gets no home-team advantage.
Independence & funding
ChooseEV is independent and currently has no display advertising. Any future commercial relationship will be disclosed and will never alter a calculation or verdict. There is no affiliation with any car brand or charging network.
